This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, “CCPA”). LowestMortgage.com is operated by TalentGroup, Inc. (“we,” “us”). It explains the categories of personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and the rights you have.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Because we connect you with mortgage brokers and lenders, our sharing of your information may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under the CCPA. Submit your email or phone below and we'll add you to our suppression list so your information isn't sold or shared going forward.
Personal information we collect
In the past 12 months we may have collected these categories:
- Identifiers — name, email, phone number, postal/property address, IP address.
- Commercial information — the loan and property details and preferences you submit.
- Financial information you provide — income range, estimated credit, loan amounts (you supply these; we do not pull your credit).
- Internet/network activity — pages viewed and interactions on our site.
- Approximate geolocation — derived from IP address or the ZIP/state you enter.
- Inferences — drawn from the above to match you with relevant brokers.
Where it comes from
Directly from you (our forms), automatically from your device as you use the site (cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics and advertising), and occasionally from service providers.
How we use it
To operate the marketplace and match you with brokers and lenders, to respond to your requests, to maintain and improve the site, for analytics and advertising, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with law.
How we disclose it
When you submit a request, we share it with one or more participating brokers, lenders, or partners who may contact you about your inquiry. We also share limited information with service providers (hosting, analytics, advertising, email). We do not knowingly sell the personal information of consumers under 16.
Your California rights
- Right to know — the categories and specific pieces of personal information we've collected about you.
- Right to delete — request deletion of personal information we hold, subject to exceptions.
- Right to correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out — of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
- Right to limit — the use of sensitive personal information.
- Right to non-discrimination — we won't deny service or charge you differently for exercising these rights.
How to exercise your rights
Submit a request through our contact page or by email. We will verify your identity before responding and aim to respond within the timeframes the CCPA requires. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.
